Hutheesing Jain Temple was built in 1848 by the Hutheesing family of Gujarat. The temple blends the old Maru-Gurjara temple architecture style with haveli-type added elements. The total cost to construct this beautiful temple was approximately ₹10 lakh or ₹70 crores in today’s money.
Review
Hutheesing Jain Temple is a beautiful temple constructed with great detailing and architecture. Located close to Delhi Darwaza, this temple is now one of the main tourist attractions in Ahmedabad.
This temple also hosts a 78 feet high Manastambha in its outer courtyard constructed in Rajasthani Architectural Style and built to commemorate the 2500th birth anniversary of Mahavira.
I would recommend everyone to visit this temple as it’s beautiful and historic.
