Bangalore, known as “Foodies Paradise,” is home to an eclectic and exciting selection of restaurants. Would you believe us if we told you that there is a resto-bar that serves unique foods from different countries? You heard that right! The restaurant’s name is Travellers Bungalow.
Recently opened in a historic building, it evokes a sense of nostalgia. Located in the middle of Indiranagar’s bustling streets, you’ll find this location, which is decorated with antiques and exudes a sense of elegance. Interior features include a beautiful wooden ceiling, wooden furniture, patterned wallpaper, vintage Crompton fans, and rustic wall lamps. It’s a two-story eatery with a lively bar area on the top floor and an outdoor patio and rooftop seating on the second.
Travellers Bungalow Review
The meaty barbecues of Portugal’s coastal cities, the sweet Tres leches of Spain, and the savoury pizza of Naples can all be on your plate if you order at Travellers Bungalow Restaurant. There is a wide variety of foods available, from traditional American fare to exotic Turkish specialities, to French beignets, to cheese speciality from Georgia, to Middle Eastern hummus served with warm pita bread reaching all the way to Indian cuisines up to 20 different countries.
Travellers Bungalow is a two-story establishment that has an outdoor and inside feel. The first floor is designed mainly for a sit-down restaurant experience, complete with a bar. The second story is more tropical in tone thanks to the abundance of greenery throughout the space.
In all candour, I don’t feel it right to comment much on the food’s quality or flavour, as I believe establishments like these are best evaluated based on the experience they provide. The dishes at Travelers Bungalow resto bar come in smaller than average portions so order more.
Make room to sample their sweet ending.
